Job summary

CAE Inc. is seeking a Commercial Contract Manager to join the Legal, Contracts and Commercial Team in Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD. You will manage contracts, CDRL items, changes and subcontractor relations, while ensuring export control obligations are met.

The role requires proactive problem solving, strong communication and drafting skills, and experience in matrix/project environments. SECRET clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management.
• Experience with ASDEFCON in acquisition and support environments is preferred.
• Excellent communication, drafting, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to proactively solve problems and implement practical solutions for customers and the business.

Responsibilities

• Support Program Manager in day-to-day contract management.
• Maintain the Document Management System and contract configuration management.
• Own and manage Contract Change Proposals and CD­RL items.
• Oversee subcontractor and supplier management and insurance requirements.
• Draft, guide and recommend actions to the Program Manager and business.

Today and tomorrow, we’ll make sure our customers are ready for the moments that matter.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a Commercial Contract Manager to join our Legal, Contracts and Commercial Team, based in Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD.The role is responsible for the Contract Management, Governance and Control processes, including configuration management of the Contract and related Contract Data and Requirements List (CDRL) items, are complied with.The Commercial Contract Manager is a key person for the Customers contracts team and is the first to address and resolve contractual issues including disputes, interpretation, flow-down requirements to subcontractors, identifying and mitigating commercial risks, meeting contractual requirements and the management of formal correspondence.The Commercial Contracts Manager is also responsible for development of Contract Change Proposals and ensuring Quotations are generated in accordance with the Contract.
