Job summary

Virtue Developments in Traralgon, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our office. You will work with Project Managers and Directors to manage the financial and contractual side of multiple commercial projects, on a hands-on role with real responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Contract Administrator or similar in commercial construction.
• Knowledge of Australian construction contracts (AS, AS4000, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Understanding of construction methodology and sequencing.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite; construction-specific software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and administer subcontract agreements.
• Let and negotiate trade packages.
• Assess and process subcontractor progress claims.
• Oversee head contract administration (AS contracts).
• Manage variations, extensions of time, and contractual notices.
• Track costs, forecast, and report on project finances.
• Procurement of materials and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants and clients.
• Assist with project programming and budget control.
