Job summary

Strike Force Services, a proudly Australian-owned facilities management company, is hiring a Commercial Cleaner to service sites in the Lithgow area. The role starts on a casual basis with the potential to transition to permanent part-time or full-time for the right person.

You will perform high-quality cleaning across offices, amenities and common areas, with training provided and emphasis on reliability, safety and teamwork. A driver’s licence and pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are key.
• Experience in cleaning or labouring is preferred but not essential.
• Physically capable for a labour-intensive role and able to follow instructions.
• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence or have access to reliable transport.
• Willing to complete pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol testing.
• Hold a National Police Check and Working With Children Check, or be willing to obtain them.
• Strike Force Services applies a zero-tolerance approach to drugs and alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality cleaning across administration buildings, offices, amenities and common areas.
• Clean across sites in the Lithgow area as required.
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to WHS principles.
• Support the facilities team to maintain clean and safe environments.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a Commercial Cleaner to join our team servicing sites across the Lithgow area.

This position will commence on a casual basis, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent part-time or full-time position for the right person.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality commercial cleaning services across a range of facilities, which may include:

• Administration buildings
• Offices
• Amenities and common areas
• Other commercial facilities as required

About You

You don't need extensive cleaning experience to be successful in this role – full training will be provided. What’s most important is your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

To be successful, you will:

• Have previous cleaning or labouring experience (preferred, but not essential).
• Be reliable, punctual and take pride in the quality of your work.
• Be physically capable of performing the requirements of a labour-intensive role.
• Have good communication and organisational skills.
• Be able to follow instructions and work to required standards and deadlines.
• Have an understanding of Work Health & Safety principles.
• Hold a current Australian driver’s licence and have access to your own reliable transport.
• Be willing and able to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
• Hold a current National Police Check and Working with Children Check, or be willing to obtain them.
