Job summary

Department of Health Victoria seeks a Commercial Analyst to support the HSV Supply Chain Optimisation & Insights team. You will produce high-quality commercial reporting, translate complex data into actionable insights, and support strategic decision-making across Victoria's public health supply chain network.

You will develop dashboards, financial models and executive-ready reports, partnering with stakeholders in Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance to drive value and efficiency within HSV

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial analysis, financial reporting or business analytics.
• Experience building commercial models (cost-to-serve, activity-based costing, pricing or scenario models).
• Exposure to logistics, supply chain, warehousing or distribution environments.
• Advanced Excel skills and Power BI for dashboards and visuals.
• Experience creating dashboards, KPI reports and executive presentations.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain State of Logistics, KRI and QBR reporting.
• Analyse commercial, financial and operational data to identify trends and risks.
• Develop dashboards and reporting templates using Excel and Power BI.
• Support business case development, commercial models and executive reports.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance and Operations for insights.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address strategic priorities.
• Translate data into actionable insights for senior leaders.
