Job summary

Azora Finance Group is seeking a motivated Collections Manager to lead the Commercial Asset Finance (AF) collections team. You will direct daily operations, manage delinquent portfolios, and coordinate with external suppliers to enforce collections and minimize losses.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AF Collections strategy.

Azora is a fast growing non-bank lender specialising in commercial asset finance, consumer car loans and home loans. We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Collections Manager to join our Commercial Asset Finance (AF) team.

Your Responsibilities | How you will make a difference

Lead the AF Collections strategy

Manage and direct the daily activities of the AF collections team

Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts, contact customers and make suitable arrangements for repayment of arrears in order to reduce delinquency and minimise losses.

Proactively manage the national network of external suppliers (e.g. Law Firms, Mercantile Agents, Property Managers and Auction Houses etc.) to effectively manage portfolio and enforcement matters

Contribute to monthly collections committee forum

Lead collections & arrears management projects & campaigns

Your Skills & Experience | A little bit about you…

3-5 years in debt collections team leader or management role

Working knowledge of all relevant legislation and regulatory guides i.e. Privacy Act, AML/CTF and Debt Collection Guidelines
