Job summary

JBS Australia is hiring Cold Stores Labourers at the Hemmant facility near Brisbane port. You will be on a full-time basis performing order preparation, paperwork checks, loading/unloading containers, sorting products and general cleaning in a high-volume cold store.

The role offers daily shifts (6am–2pm), afternoon shifts (2pm–10pm) with penalties, and night shifts (10pm–6am) with penalties. $28.32 per hour base rate and flexible shift preferences are available.

The JBS Cold Store facility is strategically located in Hemmant near the Brisbane port and employs approximately 180 people. Hemmant receives a high volume of truck and container loads of product from all the JBS sites around Australia, these are then re-loaded for our domestic and international customer’ orders and readied for transport.

About the Role

At JBS Australia, we are looking for reliable Cold Stores Labourers to join our team on a full-time basis. Working within our high-volume Hemmant Cold Stores Facility, you'll play an important role in maintaining safety, product quality and operational efficiency. Your daily duties will include order preparation, paperwork verification, loading and unloading containers, sorting products and general cold store cleaning. The standard rate for this role is $28.32 per hour and we offer various shift options including:

• Day Shift | Monday to Friday | 6am to 2pm
• Afternoon Shift | Monday to Friday | 2pm to 10pm (penalty rates apply)
• Night Shift | Sunday to Thursday | 10pm to 6am (penalty rates apply)
