Job summary

Labourforce is seeking candidates for a warehouse role in the Eastern Creek area of NSW. The position involves working in chilly environments (freezer and chiller) with voice-picking, EPJ operation, and pallet stacking. Daily shifts are 7am–9am starts with flexibility, Monday–Friday with possible Saturday work.

The role requires a forklift licence (desirable), a current driver’s licence, and a reliable vehicle. Overtime and standby rosters may apply; drug/alcohol testing is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of warehousing industry.
• Experience operating EPJ and voice picking in cold storage.
• Willingness to work day or afternoon shifts up to 10 hours.
• Must have a current driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.

Job description

Our business partner based in the Eastern Creek area is a Australian Owned organization that delivers leading edge supply chain management systems and cost effective logistics solutions to their customers within the food industry.
This position will be working in the Chiller and Freezer room, if you are unable to work in cold environments please do not apply.

Pay rate will be $37.38 per hour!!! probation rate.
after 6 months pay rate will be increased to $42.86 per hour
DAY SHIFT AVAILABLE Monday - Friday with Saturday work where required.
Flexibility will be required as the hours per day will be up to 10 hours daily.

Start times will be as below

Between 7am and 9am shifts start times - flexibility will see you stand out from the crowd.

Training will be provided , if you are keen with a willingness to learn, flexible and looking for stable work

We are seeking applications from individuals who meet the following selection criteria:

• knowledge of the warehousing industry
• Previous experience operating and Electric Pallet Jack EPJ
• Previous experience working in cold Storage - Freezers and Chiller minus 5 degrees and possibly minus 28 degrees
• Experience with Pick & Pack and knowledge on carton stacking on pallets
• Previous experience with VOICE PICKING
• Experience with pallet stacking
• MUST be flexible for the mentioned start times
• flexible as there maybe standby shifts rostered
• Forklift licence and experience with high reach ( DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
• Flexibility to work overtime and ability to work day or afternoon shifts where required.
• Physically fit and in good health
• Good communication skills
• A strong & reliable work history
• 2 x work related referees
• must be available to overtime and possible weekends where required
• Must have a current Drivers License & own reliable transport
