Job summary

Labourforce is seeking applicants for a warehouse role based in Sydney. The position involves working in chiller and freezer environments, with day shifts (Mon–Fri) and potential up to 10 hours per day. Initial pay is $41.70 per hour with probation allowances, rising to $47 per hour after 6 months.

Applicants should have warehousing knowledge, EPJ experience, and be flexible for start times. Forklift licence and high reach experience are desirable. Drug/alcohol test and medical may be required.

• Knowledge of the warehousing industry.
• Experience operating Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ).
• Experience in cold storage (freezers and chillers).
• Experience with pick and pack and pallet stacking on pallets.
• Voice picking experience.
• Pallet stacking experience.
• Flexibility for start times and standby rostered shifts.
• Forklift licence and high reach experience desirable.
• Overtime and day/afternoon shifts as required.
• Physically fit with good health.
• Good communication skills and reliable work history.
• Two work-related referees.
• Must have a current driver’s licence and own transport.

Job description

Our business partner based in the Eastern Creek area is a Australian Owned organization that delivers leading edge supply chain management systems and cost effective logistics solutions to their customers within the food industry.
This position will be working in the Chiller and Freezer room, if you are unable to work in cold environments please do not apply.

Pay rate will be $41.70 per hour!!! probation rate + Allowances.
after 6 months pay rate will be increased to $47 per hour
DAY SHIFTS on offer Monday – Friday
Flexibility will be required as the hours per day potentially will be up to 10 hours daily where required

Start times will be as below

Morning Shift -Start times will be Between 9am & 11am shifts start times - flexibility will see you stand out from the crowd.

We are seeking applications from individuals who meet the following selection criteria:

• knowledge of the warehousing industry
• Previous experience operating and Electric Pallet Jack EPJ
• Previous experience working in cold Storage - Freezers and Chiller minus 5 degrees and possibly minus 28 degrees
• Experience with Pick & Pack and knowledge on carton stacking on pallets
• Previous experience with VOICE PICKING
• Experience with pallet stacking
• MUST be flexible for the mentioned start times
• flexible as there maybe standby shifts rostered
• Forklift licence and experience with high reach ( DESIRABLE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL)
• Flexibility to work overtime and ability to work day or afternoon shifts where required.
• Physically fit and in good health
• Good communication skills
• A strong & reliable work history
• 2 x work related referees
• must be available to overtime and possible weekends where required
• Must have a current Drivers License & own reliable transport
