Job summary

Thomas Foods International in North Lakes, QLD is seeking a reliable Store Person for cold store work. The role involves receiving, recording, handling and dispatching goods, with a hands-on approach.

You will operate scanners and load-shift equipment, meet safety procedures, and liaise with admin to prepare stock takes and reports. The role offers full-time hours, uniform and PPE, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with stock handling and inventory processes.
• Ability to work with scanning equipment and record keeping.
• Demonstrated physical fitness for manual handling and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Sorting of various items of stock.
• Scanning product.
• Checking of goods inwards against consignment notes.
• Collating orders for deliveries.
• Frequent manual handling and lifting of cartons and stock items.
• Using load shifting equipment and forklifts with appropriate licenses.
• Liaise with administration team.
• Attend to various stores enquiries.
• Direct incoming delivery personnel and visitors.
• Support production and delivery functions within the team.
• Demonstrate a hands-on approach to problem solving.
• Support QA and OHS Policies and Procedures.
