Job summary

Labourforce is seeking an Inventory Technician to join a busy cold storage warehouse in Cannon Hill, QLD. The role focuses on inventory control in a -23°C freezer environment, with duties including cycle counts, stock investigations, and operating High Reach forklifts.

Day shift, Monday to Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm, with weekend work possible during stocktakes. Immediate start and long-term opportunities available with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• This role requires a valid LF Forklift Licence and High Reach forklift experience.
• Experience in inventory control within a warehouse setting is essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accurate data entry.
• Ability to work in a -23°C freezer environment with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records across multiple customer accounts.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory checks.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
• Process inventory adjustments and document changes.
• Locate and identify products to ensure stock accuracy.
• Operate High Reach forklifts and pallet runners.
• Replenish stock and assist with put-away duties.
• Support warehouse inventory investigations and audits.
• Maintain proper warehouse records and health/safety compliance.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
