Job summary

Labourforce is seeking an All-round Storeman / Forklift Operator for a role in Yennora, Sydney. The position covers forklift operation, stock rotation, picking/packing, loading/unloading trucks, and general warehousing duties in a fast-paced environment.

Shifts are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with potential overtime and weekend work. Immediate start for suitable applicants; pay rate is AU$37.50 per hour plus penalty rates.

Qualifications

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment is essential.
• Must have at least 2 years in a similar role or industry.
• Experience with High Reach forklifts and putaways is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts (High Reach and Counter Balance) and Electric Pallet Jacks.
• Stock rotation, putaways and replenishment.
• Picking and packing orders.
• Loading and unloading trucks.
• General warehousing duties and ad hoc tasks.

Ourclient, a Leader in theCold Storage and Distribution industrycurrentlyhave a vacant position available for aAll round Store / Forklift Operatorto join their team located in YENNORA.

Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast paced working environment is essential.

Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands onrole assisting with the day to day operations which will include picking / packing , loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse.

Shifts will be Monday to Friday 8AM - 4PM with potential overtime and Weekend work where required so some flexibility will be required.

IMMEDIATE START for the right applicants

Pay Rate will be $37.50 per hour plus penalty rates

The role involves; but will not be limited to:

• Operation ofForklifts- High Reach
• Operation of Counter Balance Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks
• Stock rotation, putaways and replenishment
• Picking and packing orders
• Usage of pallet wrapping machines
• Loading and Unloading Trucks
• General warehousing duties
• Ad hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role, youMUST:

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence
• Previous experience on Toyota forkliftsAdvantageous!!!
• Have minimum 2 years experience within a similar industry or role
• Previous experience with High Reach Forklifts and putaways aMUST
• Moderate communication skills both written and verbally
• Be Physically fit as some roles will involve heavy lifting
• Have yourOWNreliable transport
• Be flexible with work hours shift times may vary
• Be reliable and punctual
• RF Scanning (preferred but not essential)
