Job summary

IFF in Melbourne, Australia is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate end-to-end operations for temperature-controlled products. The role is onsite and involves 3PL coordination, import customs clearance, SAP transactions, and ensuring cold-chain integrity across the distribution process.

You will partner with Sales, Planning and Finance to optimize costs and service levels, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement in food cold-chain logistics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or a related field.
• Over 5 years in logistics management and at least 5 years of import/export experience, local distribution, warehousing, etc.
• Hands-on and good communication skills with proactive working attitude.
• Solid experience managing food cold-chain and deep-freeze logistics, including temperature-controlled storage and transportation requirements.
• Good communication and negotiation skill.
• High accountability and good team spirit.
• Logical and systemic thinking, project management skill.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end logistics operations, including 3PL warehouse management, import customs clearance and local delivery.
• Manage logistics for temperature-sensitive food products, including cold-chain and deep-freeze products.
• Process logistics transactions in SAP and prepare accurate customs-clearance documentation.
• Monitor import declarations and elevate risks when required.
• Manage KPIs, service performance and cost with 3PLs to support on-time delivery at the right cost.
• Ensure compliance with food-safety and quality requirements across processes.
