Job summary

Bellarine Bayside Foreshore Committee seeks a Senior Project Officer to lead planning and delivery of coastal projects, aligning with the Coastal and Marine Management Plan. You will manage budgeting, approvals, procurement and handover, coordinating with stakeholders to enhance visitor experiences and sustainable coastal destinations.

The role offers flexible working arrangements, including a paid Fortnight Day Off, and requires delivering projects to time and budget while ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• Experience managing a project lifecycle from inception to completion.
• Strong planning, budgeting and delivery skills within policy frameworks.
• Experience in planning, design, approvals, procurement, construction and handover.
• Excellent stakeholder communication and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of priority projects funded through annual budgets and grants.
• Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are well scoped and delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
• Manage planning, design, approvals, procurement, construction and handover within legislative and policy frameworks.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and coordinate activities across teams.
