Job summary

Bellarine Bayside is seeking an Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day maintenance, presentation and operational readiness of its six holiday parks, ensuring facilities are safe, welcoming and well maintained. You'll lead four permanent staff, supported by casuals and contractors, and report to the Commercial and Holiday Parks Manager.

The role is predominantly Monday to Friday, 76 hours per fortnight, with after-hours on-call and occasional weekend/public holiday duties during peak

Qualifications

• Experience in holiday park operations or comparable operational environment.
• Proven people leadership including rostering and performance management.
• Experience coordinating facilities, maintenance, grounds or asset management activities.
• Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities and seasonal demands.
• Sound understanding of workplace safety, risk management and operational compliance.
• Experience managing contractors, suppliers and maintenance projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including handling difficult conversations.
• Strong digital literacy, documentation and administrative capability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day maintenance, presentation and operational readiness across six holiday parks.
• Lead four permanent Maintenance and Visitor Services staff, supported by casuals and contractors.
• Coordinate maintenance and improvement projects; manage contractors and suppliers.
• Maintain high standards of service and presentation; ensure safety and compliance.
• Foster a hands-on, collaborative culture and lead by example; manage rostering and performance.
• Engage with customer service/housekeeping to align operations with peak periods.
