Job summary

RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort located in Western Australia is seeking a casual Grounds & Maintenance Officer to join our team. Live and work in a unique coastal location with on-site accommodation available at a minimal charge, supporting a small, close-knit RAC team.

You will maintain the resort grounds and facilities, perform repairs, and deliver friendly guest service while upholding safety standards in a remote coastal environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, landscaping, carpentry or a similar role.
• Strong practical and handyman skills.
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Ability to work in a remote environment and as part of a team.
• Current Manual Driver's Licence essential.
• HR Truck Licence highly regarded.
• Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general gardening, groundskeeping and maintenance work across the resort.
• Maintain accommodation, caravan and camping grounds, guest amenities, camp kitchens, swimming pool and public areas.
• Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance to resort facilities and equipment.
• Assist guests with requests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
• Conduct inspections and ensure grounds and facilities are presented to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
