Ideal candidates are dual-trained General Physicians and Geriatricians with FRACP and AHPRA registration, and a commitment to teaching, governance and regional healthcare excellence.

Qualifications

• FRACP fellowship in General Medicine is required.
• FRACP fellowship in Geriatric Medicine is required.
• Specialist Registration with AHPRA or eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide acute inpatient General Medicine services.
• Deliver comprehensive Geriatric Assessment and Management.
• Lead multidisciplinary care planning and supervise junior doctors.
• Contribute to teaching, supervision and professional development.
• Engage in clinical governance, quality improvement and service development.
