NSW Health is seeking a Coastal Deputy Head of Department - Social Worker in Bega. The role leads site-based Social Workers and carries a clinical caseload while guiding clinical staff and developing services across the network.

You will oversee operational, strategic and professional management under the Head of Department, promoting evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification as a Social Worker and eligibility for AASW membership.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a clinical team.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise, train and support staff.

Responsabilités

• Lead site-based Social Workers in delivering quality Social Work services across the network.
• Carry a clinical caseload in line with network requirements.
• Provide supervision, support and training to staff.
• Coordinate workloads across multiple regional sites within the Network.
