The Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority is seeking a Caravan Park Housekeeper to manage day-to-day cleaning and maintenance of public and caravan park amenities, cabins and facilities. We value reliable, adaptable individuals who enjoy delivering excellent customer experiences.

Candidates with direct housekeeping or cleaning experience are encouraged to apply. Note that staff accommodation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Practical cleaning skills developed in a health, hospitality or aged care environment.
• Experience in safe manual handling techniques and use of chemicals (preferred).
• Ability to communicate with people across a broad range of backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Good time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties across cabins, communal ablution blocks, kitchens, office buildings and other structures at caravan park sites.
• Face-to-face customer liaison at the Parks and provide information, handle complaints and maintenance requests.
• Advise management of customer issues promptly to ensure efficient information transfer.
• Handle stock including rotation of stock, linen and other items.
