Job summary

Feature Stone Pty Ltd in Wetherill Park, NSW, is seeking an experienced CNC/Waterjet Operator to cut and shape stone for residential and commercial projects. You will read technical drawings, program machines, and ensure high-quality finishes in a modern workshop environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with natural or engineered stone, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience operating CNC or waterjet machinery in the stone industry.
• Experience with natural or engineered stone preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and CAD files.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and/or waterjet machinery to cut and shape stone materials including granite, marble, and engineered stone.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications.
• Program and adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting and finishing.
• Conduct quality checks on finished pieces to ensure they meet specifications.
• Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshooting when required.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and WHS requirements.
• Work collaboratively with the production and installation teams.

• Experience working with natural stone, engineered stone, or porcelain
• Ability to read technical drawings and CAD files
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and strong work ethic
