Protech in Melbourne’s northern suburbs is seeking experienced CNC operators for ongoing, immediate starts. The role is based in Heidelberg West with a 38‑hour week, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Join a team delivering precision milling, tool setup and part loading in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will read G codes, use micrometers and other measuring instruments, and have experience with horizontal lathes and mills. Protech emphasizes safe, reliable work and timely pay.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Heidelberg West
38 hours a week
7am-3:30pm Monday – Friday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Set tools, run and load parts
Milling cleaning swarf
Parts measurement
Topping up coolant

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Read and understand G codes
Measuring instruments, using micrometers
Experience with horizontal lathes and mills
