Job summary

InfraBuild is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist at our Mayfield site in NSW. You will program and operate multi-axis lathes and machining centres, machining high-volume and jobbing work with opportunities to improve processes.

You should be proficient with G-code reading and engineering drawings, with experience in Fanuc/Siemens/Fagor controls being highly desirable. A Cert III in Mechanical Engineering is required, and CADCAM proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hold a Cert III in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret G-Code.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with Fanuc, Siemens or Fagor controls is desirable.
• CADCAM experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute CNC Machining including programming and operating a range of machinery including multi-axis lathes and machining centres.
• Building your skill and knowledge in machining special steels.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Provide feedback via the maintenance management systems.
• Stay up-to-date with safety management.
