Job summary

Rogers Axle & Spring Works in Carole Park QLD is seeking a CNC Machinist to program and operate 3-axis OKUMA & Hyundai lathes and a HASS milling machine. Candidates should read engineering drawings, set up tooling and fixtures, and perform QC on components.

Trade qualification or 3+ years of experience is required; own transport is advised. Full-time role, Mon-Fri, 7am–3pm, Brisbane-based manufacturing legacy since 1896.

Qualifications

• Trade Qualified or minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
• Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings and Specs
• Set up Jigs/Fixtures, Datum Points and Tool Heights. Load, unload and run machines
• Inspect & QC components per drawings and tolerances
• An ability to work autonomously and in a team environment with Apprentices
• Be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• Own transport required
• Provide current references
