Job summary

Complete Recruitment Solutions – Melbourne VIC is seeking a hands-on CNC laser operator for a full-time permanent role. You will manage day-to-day CNC laser operations, assemble switchboards, and interpret drawings while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Applicants must hold a current LF forklift licence and have experience operating power and hand tools. Welding is an advantage, and a commitment to teamwork and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a CNC laser cutter is essential or highly preferred.
• Current LF forklift ticket and driving experience required.
• Reliable, punctual, and a true team player with good communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow drawings and specs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate the CNC Laser on a daily basis.
• Assemble switchboards according to drawings and specs.
• Use power and hand tools (drills, grinder, polishing wheel) as needed.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Maintain a LF forklift license and operate forklift when licensed.
• Welding skills are an advantage and may be required in some tasks.
• Keep the workspace tidy and perform general housekeeping.
• Assist other areas of the business as required.
