Job summary

Williams Joinery and Design in Peakhurst NSW is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Machine Operator to join our hands-on joinery production team. This full-time role focuses on operating and setting up CNC machinery, edge banders and panel saws, with duties spanning from loading materials to delivering quality components.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, ability read plans and measurements, forklift experience and a commitment to safe, efficient production.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery, edge bander and panel saw.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift operating experience and a current forklift licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up CNC machinery, edge bander and panel saw.
• Produce components from drawings and specifications.
• Measure and inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines.
• Unload incoming deliveries and sort materials.
• Move materials with forklift and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Follow health and safety procedures and meets production targets.
