Stepz Fitness is seeking a Gym Manager to lead our Sydney & Central Coast club, driving membership growth and building a vibrant, member-first culture. This full-time leadership role offers autonomy to run the club with top-tier facilities and comprehensive training.

You will lead a passionate team, oversee 24/7 operations, and shape member experiences while pursuing career progression within a growing fitness brand.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Proven experience as Gym Manager, Assistant Manager, or Fitness Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead tours, follow-ups, and convert leads to members.
• Coach and manage Personal Trainers, Group Instructors and staff.
• Oversee day-to-day 24/7 club operations and standards.

Full-Time | Leadership Role

Join our Stepz Fitness team in Sydney & the Central Coast! With a lot of planned growth, we are seeking a dedicated leader to run our premium facility, drive membership growth, and build a club culture members love.

We combine 24/7 gym access with functional group training under one roof. As Gym Manager, you'll lead a passionate team and inspire our members to achieve their best, with the autonomy to run the club your way.

What You'll Be Doing

Sales & Growth

• Lead from the front with tours, follow-ups, and lead conversion
• Build relationships with new members and support their growth and journey with us
• Drive membership growth and retention

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and manage Personal Trainers, Group Instructors and staff
• Deliver and lead functional group training sessions where required

Club Operations

• Manage day-to-day operations of a 24/7
• Run Group Training supported by Stepz TV
• Maintain high standards across member experience, cleanliness, and compliance
• Ensure the club is always tour-ready and KPI-focused

Content & Socials

• Have fun creating a great member experience - share stories on social media and build engagement in club and online
• Get creative with regular photos and videos of the club and member achievements for Facebook and Instagram

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Gym Manager, Assistant Manager, or Fitness Sales Manager preferred
• Strong background in sales, lead conversion, and customer service
• Confident team leader with high personal energy on the gym floor
• Self-motivated with the initiative to run a club autonomously
• Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or Saturdays
• Strong customer service, communication, and administrative skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
