Job summary

Bluefin Resources Pty is seeking a Cloud Azure DevOps Engineer to join a customer reliability engineering team on a permanent basis. Role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne, with 2 days per week in the office.

You will engineer, automate and support Azure infrastructure focusing on AKS and build robust CI/CD pipelines using Terraform and modern DevOps practices. The role requires strong hands-on Azure experience, AKS depth, and experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, and enterprise DevOps

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience.
• Deep AKS experience including platform build, administration, troubleshooting and optimisation.
• Solid automation across cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience working with Kubernetes, DevOps tooling and modern application delivery practices to support scalable and reliable platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring and incident management, observability and production environment troubleshooting.
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.

Key Skills / Experience

• Strong hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience.
• Deep AKS experience, including platform build, administration, troubleshooting and optimisation and a solid understanding of cloud-native technologies and container platforms.
• Solid automation and engineering capability across cloud infrastructure environments.
• Experience working with Kubernetes, DevOps tooling and modern application delivery practices to support scalable and reliable platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring and operational support, including incident management, observability and production environment troubleshooting
• Strong Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Experience working in an SRE, reliability engineering or platform engineering environment is highly desirable.
• Background in large enterprise environments; experience within a top-tier banking or financial services environment will be highly regarded.
• Familiarity with enterprise tooling such as ServiceNow, Jenkins, Bitbucket, CyberArk and monitoring platforms such as Splunk, Elastic or AppDynamics.
