Publicis Sapient in Melbourne seeks a Senior Manager, Application Architecture to lead end-to-end architecture for multi-workstream digital programs. You will translate business strategy into scalable software architectures and guide delivery squads through modernisation and transformation initiatives across Financial Services, Retail, Payments and Health.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in software engineering and architecture.
• Experience designing distributed systems, microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP or Azure) and familiarity with cloud-native services.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the solution and application architecture for large-scale digital programs from discovery to production.
• Design distributed, cloud-native systems using microservices, event-driven and API-first patterns.
• Shape architectures for data and AI-enabled products with real-time data and low latency.
• Partner with client stakeholders to define target-state architecture and modernization roadmaps.
• Lead legacy modernization and re-platforming with pragmatic migration paths.
• Set and govern architecture standards, non-functional requirements and fitness functions.
• Provide technical leadership to engineering squads and mentor engineers.
• Champion AI-assisted engineering to lift delivery quality and productivity.
• Support pre-sales by shaping solutions and articulating technical value to clients.
