The candidate will engage with governance bodies, manage vendors and stakeholders, and craft solution designs for cloud-native architectures on Azure and AWS, ensuring security and compliance.

Role: Cloud Infra Architect
Location: Sydney
Contract Duration: 6 Months with high possible extensions
Experience: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage vendors, delivery partners, and business stakeholders.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Architecture Governance and Presentation Skills
• Proven experience preparing and presenting solution designs, architecture artefacts, and recommendations to governance forums.
• Ability to engage with Transport governance bodies, including Architecture Design Review Forum (ADRF), Architecture Governance Design Authority (AGDA).
• Compliance and Assurance Support
• Experience supporting and contributing to internal assurance and compliance activities, including:
• Cyber Security Assessments
• Records Management Assessments
• Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA)
• Other governance, risk, and compliance reviews as required.
• Cloud Infrastructure and Cloud-Native Solutions
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, cloud-native architectures, and platform services within Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-based solutions.
• Proven experience in planning and executing cloud migration initiatives.
• Familiarity with migration strategies, application modernisation, infrastructure transformation, and cloud adoption frameworks.
