Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object oriented language experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS and TCP/IP
• 2+ years of any combination of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration and network security experience
• Experience with AWS products and services
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++
• Experience building or working with AI/LLM-based agents, automation frameworks, or applying AI to security and operational workflows

Responsibilities

• Triage new incoming issues to determine risk and prioritize remediation with the impacted service team
• Communicate status of issues to technical and non-technical audiences up to CISO level
• Collaborate with partner security teams and service teams across Amazon
• Manage priorities and handle context switching while staying productive
• Escalate issues early when progression stalls
• Design and build automation reducing manual toil in incident response
• Design agentic systems and frameworks for AI to reason over security context
• Improve tools and processes to scale response for a global team
• Fulfill regular on-call responsibilities during working hours and weekend rotations
