Job summary

Change Recruitment in Melbourne seeks an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure. You will collaborate with engineering, operations and security teams to improve reliability and performance of cloud environments.

Responsibilities include deploying infrastructure, automating provisioning with Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible, and developing automation with Python/Bash/PowerShell, while implementing security, monitoring costs

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience across AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on cloud infrastructure design, deployment and operational experience.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform, CloudFormation or similar.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and security.
• Experience with cloud storage and infrastructure services.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash and/or PowerShell.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus or Azure Monitor.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work across technical teams.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement and maintain secure, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure.

You’ll work across cloud infrastructure, automation, networking, security and operational support, partnering with engineering, operations and security teams to improve the reliability and performance of cloud environments.
