Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join the SCATS initiative, a leading intelligent traffic management platform. You will design and operate secure, scalable cloud platforms, automate deployments and manage containerised workflows with Kubernetes and Helm charts.

You will build robust CI/CD pipelines, maintain Linux and Windows servers, and provide production support for development and production environments.

Qualifications

• Proven DevOps engineering experience across cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment and production support.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration and application delivery using IaC and continuous delivery practices.
• Develop, enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based development environments.
• Support application deployments across development and production environments while resolving complex infrastructure and platform issues.
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews and continuous improvement while sharing DevOps knowledge and supporting less-experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain secure, scalable cloud platforms through Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Manage containerised workflows using Kubernetes with Helm charts.
• Maintain Linux and Windows servers, ensuring reliability, security and performance.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and provide support for development and production environments.
• Conduct code reviews and analysis to identify issues and ensure consistency, efficiency and reliability of new software and infrastructure.
