Job summary

Enovis Surgical Australia Pty Ltd in Brisbane, Australia, seeks a DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and operate cloud platforms and production environments. You will collaborate with hardware, clinical research, product management, and quality teams to improve reliability, security, and developer productivity while applying strong DevOps fundamentals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of professional DevOps, Platform/Cloud Engineering, SRE, or Software Engineering roles.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation practices.
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines and software delivery workflows.
• Experience with Linux-based systems, containers, and distributed applications.
• Understanding of networking, security, identity management, and cloud basics.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and Agile working experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services for software delivery and production operations.
• Develop and maintain IaC solutions for repeatable environment provisioning.
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Collaborate with hardware, clinical research, product management, and quality teams to define software requirements.
• Partner with software engineers to improve reliability, deployment, and developer experience.
• Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability for production systems.
• Contribute to security, compliance, and governance across cloud environments and pipelines.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventative improvements.
• Support performance, scalability, availability, and disaster recovery initiatives.
• Develop and maintain runbooks and engineering standards, participate in Agile delivery.
• Advocate for automation and elimination of manual operational tasks.
• Participate in verification and validation activities to ensure regulatory compliance.
