Job summary

Healthcare Professionals Group is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a growing technology team in the healthcare sector. You will design, automate and continuously improve cloud platforms, development workflows and production environments, collaborating closely with software engineers and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes building IaC, CI/CD pipelines and strong observability, with a Brisbane-based hybrid working arrangement offering office and remote flexibility.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Commercial experience in DevOps, Cloud/Platform/Software Engineering.
• Experience in medical devices or healthcare technology or another highly regulated environment.
• Strong experience with public cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Linux-based systems, containers and distributed applications.
• Understanding of networking, security, identity management and cloud architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

• Build, maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines

• Investigate technical and production issues and perform root cause analysis
• Support application performance, scalability, availability and operational readiness
