Job summary

Macquarie Group is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Public Investments team within Macquarie Asset Management. You will develop web applications, build microservices, and design serverless data pipelines in AWS to support finance workflows.

You will collaborate across global stakeholders, own solution design, and deliver scalable, secure cloud solutions with modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

4 to 8 years of relevant Finance experience is required, with Asset Management or Capital Markets experience being mandatory
Proven engineering skills with Python and AWS Services for building data pipelines and microservices
Strong Front-end skills in Angular, React.js or similar technology are highly regarded
Experience with CI/CD, Containers, Apache Airflow, Relational and NoSQL databases, monitoring and secrets management is valuable

Responsibilities

Develop web applications and data pipelines in the cloud to enable business value
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, design solutions and architectures
Deliver cost-effective cloud solutions and scalable microservices
Work with Engineers and business teams globally to continuously improve platforms
