Job summary

Whizdom is seeking a Context Engineer for a major enterprise banking program in Sydney. This hands-on role focuses on building scalable cloud data solutions, data pipelines, modelling, governance, and performance optimisations across on-prem and cloud environments.

You will design, build and support batch and near real-time pipelines, implement data quality and security controls, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver enterprise data capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Data Engineering, Solution Design or Data Warehousing.
• Advanced SQL and data transformation expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Python, Spark, Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Experience across Azure, AWS and/or GCP environments.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, governance and data quality.
• Experience with enterprise databases and cloud data platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Context Engineer | Cloud Data Engineering

We're partnering with a leading consulting organisation to engage an experienced Context Engineer for a major banking program. This is a hands-on opportunity for a strong data engineering professional who enjoys building scalable cloud data solutions and working on complex enterprise platforms.

About the Role

You’ll design, build and support enterprise data solutions across cloud and on-premises environments, delivering batch and near real-time pipelines, data integration, modelling, governance and performance optimisation.
