The role is located in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Your Mission

As a Principal Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering strategic cloud solutions that redefine what’s possible. Reporting to the Services Business Leader, you’ll lead high-impact engagements, mentor top-tier talent, and influence C-level stakeholders across industries.

What You’ll Own

• Lead strategic cloud engagements with global and regional impact.
• Act as a trusted advisor to enterprise clients, driving cloud adoption, Gen AI integration, and DevOps transformation.
• Influence at scale—1:many—through thought leadership, technical depth, and business acumen.
• Solve complex challenges in security-conscious, regulated environments.
• Drive C-level conversations and shape long-term cloud strategies.

Leadership & Team Building

• Inspire and lead high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring, and strategic guidance.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Identify and develop emerging talent within the organization.
• Partner with executive leadership to shape team structure and capability growth.

Knowledge Sharing & Community Impact

• Create and refine internal playbooks, best practices, and reusable assets.
• Lead enablement programs for internal teams and clients.
• Speak at industry events, contribute to white papers, and represent Amdocs Studios in the global cloud community.
• Drive systemic learning and knowledge capture across projects.
• Evangelize our brand and offerings through thought leadership and public speaking.
• Identify new market opportunities and shape go-to-market strategies.
• Lead global-scale work plans aligned with evolving client needs.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of enterprise IT consulting or professional services experience (Telco or FSI preferred).
• Proven leadership in delivering large-scale, secure, high-availability cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Deep technical expertise in cloud architecture, DevOps, and automation (Terraform, CI/CD, scripting).
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including C-level influence.
• Experience in regulated industries with a strong understanding of public cloud security principles.
• Recognized thought leader with a track record of speaking at industry events and publishing insights.
• Agile delivery experience and the ability to lead geographically dispersed teams.
