Job summary

Savers Australia Pty, Ltd. is seeking a part-time team member for our Brunswick store to sort and prepare donated items for the retail floor. You will engage with customers and donors, share the Savers story, and help maintain a fast-paced, friendly environment.

In this hands-on role, you’ll accept donations, price and display items, and support daily production targets while prioritising safety and teamwork. A commitment to excellent service and community impact is essential.

Qualifications

• Availability for part-time hours (Mon-Fri 7:30am–2:30pm)
• Experience in retail, production, warehousing or hospitality is a plus
• Customer-focused and able to engage with donors and customers
• Inclusive, team-oriented and adaptable to change
• Desire to contribute to the community and mission

About the Role

Reporting to the Production Manager at our Brunswick store, you will be responsible for treasure hunting – sorting donations from our charity partners and then getting the products ready for our retail floor.

A typical day might include:

• Accepting donations (treasures!) on behalf of our not-for-profit partners
• Meeting and engaging with our wonderful customers and donors, and sharing the Savers story with them to ensure they receive excellent service and have a meaningful Savers experience
• Sorting donations
• Pricing, grading and hanging product so that it is ready to head out onto our retail floor
• Working with your team to make sure you all meet daily production targets
• Supporting our safety culture.

About You

To ensure you can hit the ground running, you will have a mix of the following:

• Availability for part-time hours – Monday to Friday 7.30am - 2.30pm
