Glencore Australia is seeking a Closure Engineering & Data Specialist to support Newlands through closure by turning rehabilitation and civil engineering data into actionable insights. You will build dashboards, automate workflows and improve information accessibility across planning, survey, spatial, environmental and production systems.

Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, the Closure Engineering & Data Specialist will be a results-oriented professional with strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills who is comfortable working across engineering, project delivery and data and analytics functions. You will support Newlands through closure by combining an understanding of rehabilitation, mining and civil engineering activities with data analytics, reporting and process improvement. The role will turn closure plans, designs and operational requirements into safe, practical and measurable outcomes, while improving the quality, accessibility and use of information through structured data, dashboards, workflow automation and fit-for-purpose digital tools.
