Job summary

Collaroy Plateau Pharmacy in Sydney's Northern Beaches seeks a motivated Dispensary Technician to join their team on a permanent full-time or part-time basis.

You will assist with dispensing under pharmacist supervision, support nursing home and community patients, and coordinate medication needs with doctors and nurses. A Dispensary Technician certificate is preferred or a willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience in pharmacy dispensing is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to obtain the Dispensary Technician certificate.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accurate and efficient dispensing under Pharmacist supervision.
• Support management of medication requirements for nursing homes and community patients.
• Liaise with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient medication needs.
• Process medication orders and assist with day-to-day dispensary operations.
• Collaborate with the Pharmacist and wider team to deliver excellent patient care.
