Job summary

The Bionics Institute in Melbourne is seeking a proactive Research Assistant to support the Cognitive Therapeutics Research Program. You will help with participant recruitment, study assessments, trial coordination and data collection, working closely with researchers and carers to advance brain stimulation therapies for Alzheimer’s disease.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical research, healthcare, psychology, neuroscience or related field.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and high-quality data collection and documentation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with participants, carers and clinical teams.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment, screening, assessment and monitoring activities.
• Coordinate study visits and research assessments.
• Collect, enter and maintain accurate data.
• Maintain study documentation per protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Provide information and support to participants and carers.
• Assist with governance requirements and ethics submissions.
• Collaborate with investigators, clinicians and external stakeholders.
