Job summary

The Translational Research Institute in Brisbane invites applications for a Clinical Trials Assistant on a 12-month maximum-term contract, with potential to extend. The CTA will support the Translational Trials initiative and assist the trial team from start-up through close-out for industry-sponsored studies, including bio-specimen processing.

You will work full-time (38 hours per week) in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, with opportunities for training and development within TRI

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a clinical trials setting or healthcare environment.
• Understanding of ethics, governance, privacy and ICH-GCP principles.
• High level administrative and computer skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced team.
• Experience in managing time demands and prioritising tasks.
• Current TransCelerate GCP certification (R3).
• Ability to learn new trial support IT systems and project tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Support Translational Trials initiative across TRI and partners.
• Assist the trial team in conduct of clinical trials from start-up to close-out, including bio-specimen processing.
• Contribute to documentation, procedures and checklists.
• Track progress and report on financial aspects of a trial.
• Prepare study-related presentation materials and coordinate with stakeholders.
