Job summary

Western Sydney University is seeking a senior leader to oversee the Faculty of Health's clinical trials portfolio, ensuring studies run from start-up to close-out on time and within budget. You will strengthen governance, compliance and financial oversight while implementing digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance data management and performance monitoring.

You will guide senior stakeholders, investigators and external partners on regulatory requirements, resourcing and risk.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, science, nursing, business administration, research management or related discipline.
• Extensive clinical trials operations or management experience.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP, NHMRC, TGA, ethics, privacy and institutional compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Faculty of Health's clinical trials portfolio.
• Oversee trials from start-up to close-out within timelines, budgets and regulatory requirements.
• Lead governance, financial oversight, contracts and reporting for trials.
