Western Sydney University invites applications for a Full-time, 2-year fixed-term HEW Level 8 leadership role at the Campbelltown campus. You will lead the Faculty of Health’s clinical trials portfolio, ensuring start-up to close-out delivery within timelines and budgets, and in line with regulatory requirements.
You will develop governance frameworks, advise senior stakeholders on compliance and resourcing, oversee budgets and contracts, and drive adoption of digital tools to enhance trial
You will provide strategic and operational leadership for the Faculty of Health’s clinical trials portfolio, overseeing trials from start-up through to close-out. You will ensure activities are delivered effectively, ethically and within agreed timelines, budgets and regulatory requirements.
You will develop and continuously improve clinical trial governance frameworks, procedures and systems. Drawing on your knowledge of ICH-GCP, NHMRC, TGA, ethics, privacy and institutional requirements, you will provide specialist advice to senior stakeholders, investigators and external partners on compliance, risk, resourcing and financial management.
You will oversee budgets, financial tracking, invoicing, forecasting, governance submissions, contracts and reporting. You will also lead clinical trial staff and resources, manage relationships with sponsors, CROs, funding bodies and health partners, and implement digital and AI-enabled tools that improve trial operations, data management and performance monitoring.
