Job summary

Datapharm Australia is seeking a motivated Clinical Trials Assistant (CTA) to join our clinical research team in Sydney. This is an opportunity for an early-career professional to develop experience across coordination, administration and documentation of trials.

You will work closely with clinical research, data management, statistics and project teams to support delivery of projects in line with protocols, regulatory requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in health science or a related field.
• Interest in clinical trials and clinical research.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and operational support to clinical trial project teams.
• Prepare, maintain and file essential trial documentation.
• Support setup, conduct and close-out activities of clinical studies.
• Maintain accurate trial trackers, databases and project records.
• Assist with study documentation, reports and meeting materials.
• Coordinate and track study-related activities, deadlines and deliverables.
• Assist with data collection, review and reconciliation activities where required.
• Support communication between internal project teams, investigators, sites, sponsors and other stakeholders.
• Assist with quality-control checks to ensure documentation and data are complete and accurate.
• Contribute to the preparation of study reports, presentations and other project outputs.

About you

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Confidence working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
