VACCA invites applications for a Clinical Team Leader to guide the Aboriginal Children’s Healing Team in delivering culturally safe assessments and therapeutic interventions for Aboriginal children and families in Melbourne’s catchment. You will provide clinical leadership within mental health and wellbeing frameworks and work collaboratively with OT, Speech Pathology and other colleagues.

You'll lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, supervise staff, and manage referrals from VACCA programs

Qualifications

• Leadership experience delivering multidisciplinary therapeutic services.
• Ability to supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic intervention skills.

Responsabilités

• Leading and supporting a multidisciplinary therapeutic team
• Providing clinical supervision, mentoring, coaching and professional development
• Managing referrals from VACCA programs and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH)
• Delivering secondary consultations and therapeutic advice for children aged 0–18 years
• Maintaining a small clinical caseload
• Promoting culturally safe, trauma-informed practice
• Contributing to a positive, high-performing team culture
