Job summary

Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency Co Op (VACCA) in Chirnside Park is seeking a Clinical Team Leader for the Aboriginal Children’s Healing Team. You will provide clinical leadership, supervise a multidisciplinary caseload and drive culturally safe, trauma-informed practice across the service.

The role delivers high quality assessments and interventions for Aboriginal children and families, with fortnightly supervision, collaboration with cultural leaders, and opportunities to shape

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering therapeutic services to children, young people and families.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary therapeutic teams.
• Strong clinical assessment, consultation and therapy skills.
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with families and communities.
• Current Police Check and Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a multidisciplinary therapeutic team.
• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, coaching and professional development.
• Manage referrals from VACCA programs and the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH).
• Deliver secondary consultations and therapeutic advice for children and young people aged 0-18 years.
• Maintain a small clinical caseload.
• Promote culturally safe, strengths-based and trauma-informed practice.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
