Join the Armidale Rural Referral Hospital Operating Theatres as a Clinical Support Officer, providing administrative support to the NUM and healthcare team.
The Operating Theatres provide critical care and surgical services to Armidale and surrounding communities, as well as acting as a referral centre for smaller centres within the Tablelands cluster.
You will provide a range of administrative and operational support, including:
You will also support activities focused on achieving the National Emergency Access Target (NEAT) and National Elective Surgery Target (NEST), including service rounding and reviewing inpatient and outpatient services as required.
Armidale Operating Theatres consist of three theatres and an Endoscopy Procedure Room, with two to three operating lists per day.
Services include Orthopaedics, Ophthalmic, General, Obstetrics/Gynaecology, Urology, Emergency and Endoscopic procedures.
You will receive orientation and training within the unit, supported by staff and the NUM, along with online HETI education.
Hold or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent
