Actualise Psychology is seeking an exceptional ClinicalPsychologist to join our established Sydney CBD private practice andconsultancy in a permanent part-time position.
This is a newly created role and an important appointmentfor our practice. We are looking for someone who values excellent clinicalwork, professional autonomy, thoughtful collaboration and the opportunity tobecome a significant long-term member of a growing practice.
The position will commence at 2 days per week, with theopportunity to progressively increase toward 3–4 days per week over time. Someflexibility in working arrangements may be possible for the right candidate.

Actualise Psychology is an established Sydney-basedpsychology consultancy and private practice, operating since 2016.
Our work is grounded in a belief in unearthing humanpotential and cultivating psychological robustness. We work with individuals,couples and organisations across a broad spectrum of psychological functioning— from the treatment of mental ill-health and support through challenging lifecircumstances, through to enhancing performance, leadership and potential.
Our services span psychological assessment and intervention,individual and couples therapy, executive coaching and organisationalconsulting.
Across our work, we emphasise evidence-informedpsychological practice that is grounded in theory while remaining agile andresponsive to the individual. We value sophisticated formulation, clinicaljudgement and thoughtful tailoring of intervention rather than the mechanicalapplication of therapeutic protocols.
The practice is led by a dual-endorsed Clinical andOrganisational Psychologist, alongside a small team of Clinical Psychologistsand dedicated administrative support. We aim to provide an environment that isprofessional, warm, personable and intellectually engaging, where psychologistshave considerable autonomy in their clinical work alongside access to collegialconsultation and support.
The role will primarily involve psychological assessment andtherapy with an adult clinical population.
Our clients present with a broad range of concerns,including anxiety and mood difficulties, trauma and attachment-related issues,adjustment and occupational difficulties, interpersonal and relationshipconcerns, and more complex psychological presentations.
You will progressively develop a private-practice caseloadthrough established practice referral pathways and new referrals. The practiceworks with a substantial military and emergency services population, soexperience with, or an interest in working with, these client groups would beadvantageous.
We are focused on quality and sustainability rather thanmaximising appointment numbers. The role is designed to provide protectednon-client time for clinical administration, consultation and professionaldevelopment.
There is also scope to shape your caseload according to yourclinical experience, interests and areas of expertise.
Depending on your background and interests, there may beopportunities to contribute to organisational psychology and consulting work.Experience in this area is welcome but is not required.
Above all, we're looking for an excellent clinician andmature professional whom we can trust to exercise thoughtful, independentclinical judgement.

Private-practice experience would be advantageous but is notessential for an otherwise strong candidate.
Training or experience across both Clinical andOrganisational Psychology would be particularly welcome, but is not required.
