Job summary

Thompson Brain & Mind Healthcare in Maroochydore, QLD, is seeking an experienced Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist to deliver evidence-based therapy and comprehensive assessments within a neuroscience-informed, multidisciplinary model of care.

You will manage your own caseload, develop formulation-driven plans and contribute to program design, clinical pathways, and quality improvement initiatives. AHPRA-registered professionals with CPD commitment are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Psychologist/Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA.
• Minimum 5 years post-registration clinical experience or equivalent.
• Experience delivering evidence-based therapy and structured assessments.
• Commitment to CPD and supervision in line with AHPRA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face psychological therapy across the lifespan.
• Develop formulation-driven treatment plans aligned with client goals.
• Apply CBT, ACT, EMDR, DBT-informed and trauma-focused therapies.
• Manage an autonomous caseload with high professional standards.
• Provide clear, timely documentation and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with Medicare, DVA, NDIS funding frameworks.
• Conduct comprehensive psychological and diagnostic assessments.
• Administer and interpret psychometric tools where appropriate.
• Contribute to development and refinement of treatment programs.
• Support integration of psychology within psychiatry, neuromodulation, lifestyle medicine and research services.
