About the job:

Moonee Ponds Clinical Psychology are looking for a General or Clinical Psychologist to join our supportive team of clinicians. We are looking for an evidence-based psychologist who provides assessment and therapy services, working with individuals across all ages, particularly with young children, across a diverse range of presentations. Expertise in working with young children is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and previous experience in providing evidence-based psychology interventions
• Provide inclusive and non-judgemental care to clients from diverse backgrounds
• Collaboratively work with client to align intervention with clients’ goals
• Monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans
• Coordinate care with GPs, psychiatrists, allied health professionals, support coordinator and other stakeholders
• Maintain high-quality client documentation and reporting
• Deliver services both face-to-face and telehealth options
• Participate in supervision, peer consultation and ongoing professional development
• Current registration as a General or Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA
• Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number
• Strong understanding for evidence-based psychological interventions
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Knowledge of NDIS, Medicare, DVA and WorkCover frameworks
• Experience in private practice settings
• Clinical experience in cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments, including ADHD and ASD highly regarded
